Audien Impresses With Debut Album, "Escapism"

Audien has been a mainstay on festival lineups for an impressive 10 years. There’s just something about his eclectic sound design that brings a smile to my face, always scratching an itch I didn’t quite know about until I press play on his newest single.

When any artist that has consistently been putting out new songs, remixes and EPs for almost 10 years releases their first ‘album’ the immediate fear is that it may be a collection of songs we’ve already heard – but that is not the case with Escapism. Audien’s debut album features 11 tracks – with only 3 of them being formally released. Overall, it is a fantastic selection of songs with some showing some new production techniques learned along the way and others reminding us of Audien’s euphoric sound that thrust him onto festival lineups all over the world.
