It’s not just the hip-hop world, DJ’S GOT BEEF TOO (if only they made diss tracks too). Channeling their inner Drake and Meek Mill, Skrillex and deadmau5 also took their beef straight to twitter. This past Halloween night, dubstep king turned pop star Skrillex called out his one-time mentor deadmau5 on his constant negative attitude and bulls*t.
After one troll too many, Skrillex decided he’s had enough. The producer took many shots at the mau5, including put downs against Zimmerman himself such as “good night you sad old washed up asshole,” as well as his often scrutinized mau5trap label, “I feel sorry [for] the artists you’ve signed.” Just as you’d expect, deadmau5 maintained his snide IDGAF attitude throughout the virtual altercation. Deadmau5 will always be the king of edm in my book he set the bar for all djs however skrillex saw an opportunity and capitalized hes building an empire as is diplo its sad pop has become the home for many djs deadmau5 needs to quit being weak and rise above bringing techno back in full force in fact so does skrillex and diplo i want to hear some dirty filthy drops and mind blowing chords and not read two grown self made men arguing like children on social media please channel your frustrations into your work and youll be amazed what surfaces
