Today Mr. Oizo released a new track from his upcoming album All Wet. The song is called ‘End of the World’ and is the product of an unexpected collaboration between Mr. Oizo and Skrillex. The song is insanely well produced and bridges the gap between old and new. Elaborating on the collaboration, Mr. Oizo aka Quentin Dupieux said in a statement:
“I could spend a month watching Sonny making beats on his laptop, he simply is the best of this new EDM generation. Since I’m the best of the old electro dudes, we had to do this tune together.”
If the track is any indication of Mr. Oizo’s upcoming album, it will undoubtedly be a hit amongst old school electronic lovers and the newer generation as well. Check out the tracklist and artwork for the album below, and make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for his new album All Wet which comes out September 30th via Ed Banger Records.
