Check Out Flume's Latest Interview

Next month Flume’s highly anticipated album Skin is set to drop. In the lead up to the album drop, Flume did an exclusive interview with Hunger Magazine talking about the album, artistic influences, and his take on the music world.

In the interview when asked about the upcoming album he said that the new record would be “Darker than my first record, quite high energy. There’s quite a big variety of stuff on the record – I tried to make sure there wasn’t one general vibe. I wanted some harsh, more challenging stuff to go with the stuff that’s easier to hear.”

Along with comments on the album, Flume elaborated more on his influences, reflecting on where his influences come from: “My inspiration comes from technology mostly. I’m a massive nerd and I find it fascinating, all the new equipment you can get these days and the sounds that technology can create. What’s most exciting for me is that I know I can sit down on any day and create a sound that no one’s ever heard before.”
