[PREMIERE] : WE ARE FURY Put Their Twist on "As We Fall" from League of Legends Video Game

League of Legends is no stranger to blending their music with EDM stars. Big names such as Marshmello, Arty and Minnesota have all remixed tunes from the popular PC game.

Now WE ARE FURY are trying their hand at remixing a song from League of Legends. With such a rabid fanbase – it’s definitely a challenge, but one that WE ARE FURY takes on with pride. Inspired by League of Legends the Vancouver duo takes the alt rock influenced original and turns it into an absolute monster of a track. The kick drums are crisp and the bass really pushes the emotional vocals to a whole other level. The bass flows with the song – as opposed to punching you in the face with sonic waves.

This truly feels like a remix. The original emotions of the core are very much intact, but with a brand new energy injected into it.

“We are both avid gamers, we’ve always loved the League of Legends songs and how they tie in with the lore of the game. The Riot games guys have an awesome creative team. When we heard ‘As We Fall’ we got goosebumps and we knew we had to rework it. We went with a very dark and heavy drop because we thought it really captured the eeriness of the song. It was a lot of fun to re arrange the vocal elements from the song, it helped create tension and experiment with different structures. We also wanted to move away from our melodic sound and introduce something new which would also fit the emotions conveyed in the original song. We’re happy to finally release this and we hope everyone enjoys it!” – WE ARE FURY
