Tragic news sparked this week when it was announced that one of Brooklyn’s premiere nightclubs would be closing its doors. Set to close on January 1st, 2019, Output Club has been the home to a slew of NYC’s hottest house, techno and trap shows. This year alone, Output hosted the likes of Virtual Self, REZZ, Flosstradamus, Flux Pavilion, Jauz, Tchami, and Mija.
Following the announcement, dozens of artists poured their heart out over the devastating news. Check out tweets from Kaskade, Mija, Mat Zo, Gramatik and more below.
Had some of my best NYC moments at @OutputClubBK – this venue will be missed!! Thank you for giving #REDUX a home.
Luckily, we’ll always have our pictures to remember it by. Here’s my favorite. 🤷🏼♂️ pic.twitter.com/agvB1kF6qC— Kaskade (@kaskade) December 11, 2018

Waking up to the news that @OutputClubBK is closing is beyond terrible. My favourite club in the world is closing, but worse, what will happen to dance music in ny?

Very sad to hear @OutputClubBK is closing. I’ve had some of the most joyful and fulfilling experiences DJing there over the past four years.

i can’t tell you how many memories I’ve had at output
i’ve seen skream, bonobo, james blake… list goes on
all w/ no VIP, no bottle service, no dress code
feel very lucky to have played there – at its best, it was everything dance music *can* be – inclusive, unpretentious, fun https://t.co/z4z1UxG2PW— wingtip (@itswingtip) December 11, 2018
