Whenever I see that Skrillex plays in Japan, I always get a little bit jealous. Skrillex seems to always bring something special – and this was no exception. Skrillex’s set from Fuji Rock Festival is a tale of two stories – the first hour being the controlled chaos that he is known for in his DJ sets. He gets the crowd moving in almost every genre possible. But then the lights went dark, and a piano took the stage.

Watch Skrillex be joined on stage by Yoshiki of X Japan as they play a rendition of X Japan’s moving rock ballad, “Endless Rain.” Yoshiki then moves to the drums and joins Skrillex in a finale mashup of some his most memorable songs from the years.
