Lil Uzi Vert Decided Not to Show Up to his Headlining Set at BUKU

Last night hip hop star Lil Uzi Vert was set to throw down at BUKU in New Orleans. As fans showed up to the stage he was set to perform at, they were greeted by a message on the screen. Instead Lil Uzi decided to chill in Philadelphia with his homies. The festival announced it was going to donate some of his booking fee to Upbeat Academy Foundation who “provides underprivileged and at risk children with an opportunity to learn how to produce and perform the type of music they listen to and dream of creating.” No word has come out from Lil Uzi’s cam as to why this happened or if he will make up the performance at a later date.
