It’s a real rarity these days to get a piece of stunning music that has an equally matching and impacting video to complete the audio-visual experience. However, on this warm May evening, the team at RTT have such an example for you guys to enjoy. Today, we have the opportunity to premiere the joining forces of Venice-based three piece, The Great Escape and German electro legend, Robot Koch. In this breathtaking video below you get a first listen at both the original and inspiring remix version of, “Let Me Go Wild”.
The Great Escape are creating whispers around the music scene with their unique approach to sharing their musical content with their growing audience. Steadily building a very individual style of premiering their tracks. Combining elements of storytelling with intimate and real accounts of a broad range of concepts. In this latest single with the leadership of acclaimed director, Mischa Meyer they take the opportunity to dive into the LA Krumping scene. Providing a selection of emotional and capturing accounts into how the Krumping dancers have used music and more importantly the power of dance to overcome their environment, upbringing and surrounding turmoil in the inner cities of LA.
What does Robot Koch bring to the table with his inspiring remix?
Enjoy Robot´s layers of punchy percussion layered with the tribal themed vocals climaxing in slicing waves of cutting synth. Koch masterfully, yet subtly gives the original an electronic rebirth while at the same time making use of the organic percussion from the band´s drummer, Kristian Nord. Making this an all-round enticing and enhancing remix.
The Great Escape are solidly building a reputation to their thorough approach of creatively and consistently sharing incredible stories and matching soundtracks and this latest addition is no exception. We are excited for the next instalment to this trilling series.
