Nero

Nero is chock full of fabulous, and we are reminded of this as they hit us with a newbie today. Their sound is very distinct, and “Two Minds” features this distinction, as does all of their catalogue. The female vocal tracks are something regularly recognized in their music, but everyone knows this distinct sound is one that withstands any commonality with any other artist in the game. It feels like a band, with guitars and a bass and drums and vocals. And the lyrics are so super deep that their music just makes me feel like I am surfing on the neck of a guitar trying to hit the correct buttons and chords in Rock Band.

“Two Minds” brings this characteristically Nero sound to life, giving them even more solidarity and staying power than they already have, in this game of music. They stand still in a fleeting world, graduated well beyond the politics of this industry. This track is from their new album BETWEEN II WORLDS, which is sure to be packed with emotionally charged lyrics and beautifully composed music.
