Steve Aoki has rolled through with a beautiful dance pop remix fueled by airy bass chords and snappy, upbeat percussion, perfectly accenting MAX’s iconic vocals over a flourishing vibrant synth melody. Steve Aoki has turned out an unexpected but absolutely amazing flip of “Lonely” that is sure to make this year’s festival must-have list.
Khalid & Normani – Love Lies (Snakehips Remix) | Stream
Nothing says summer like a new Snakehips remix and the UK duo have just dropped off the perfect remix to get you hyped for the sunshine. Their official take of Khalid and Normani‘s “Love Lies” is stunning, with Japanese-inspired plucked synths tingling against Khalid’s infectious vocals before deep bass and sparkling percussion kick in. Snakehips’ “Love Lies” is definitely the best we’ve heard yet and sure to be this year’s summer anthem.
Win and Woo – Chasing Tail (Madnap Remix) | Stream
Madnap is here to serve up the perfect vibes for any festivities. His remix takes Win and Woo‘s “Chasing Tail” on a melodic voyage. Giving the original a complete facelift, it’s chorus gives you a burst of energy unlike anything else. The irresistible combo of vocal and harmony trap you in its pit of happiness. Sit down, relax, and hit play. Madnap’s future pop remix is just what you need. – Omar Serrano
The Internet – Roll (Burbank Funk) [KAYTRANADA Remix] | Stream
Legendary Kaytranada is back with a hype new remix of The Internet‘s “Roll (Burbank Funk)”. With ‘funk’ already in the song’s title, Kaytranada takes it to whole new levels adding his signature future bounce to the track to make it epically funky. Deep, throbbing bass lines thump against the kicking drums and shiny synths and groove infested rhythms. This feel good remix is definitely another Kaytranada classic.
Imad Royal & Mark Johns – Heart-Shaped Box (VIRTU Remix) | Stream
Channeling their inner Nirvana, Imad Royal and Mark Johns blew us away with “Heart Shaped Box“. The lighthearted ballad struck a pluck within our emotions and we never looked back. What if I told you that song just got even better? VIRTU pursues an artistic quest to give us his mind-blowing rendition and boy, does he deliver. The LA producer puts us in a whirlwind of feelings with this remix. The melancholy atmosphere is the kicker, it’s what pulls you in, but little do you know that you’re in for a surprise. As you become fathomed in the alluring combination of vocal and melody, VIRTU ties it all in for an insane drop. The aggressive electro-house section takes us back to its 2011 glory days. So much can be said but this remix is honestly one of the best productions we’ve heard this year. VIRTU deserves to be on your radar. – Omar Serrano
Boombox Cartel – Beibs in the Moon | Stream
Boombox Cartel has dropped their long-awaited “Beibs in the Trap” vs. “Moon” mashup. The duo has been playing this edit at their shows for quite some time, and now we can finally hear Travis Scott‘s vocals build up into the heavy drop that comes from their single ‘Moon.’ It’s an interesting track, and the transition from the chiller vibes into the heavy-hitting trap drop is amazing. We can’t wait to hear this edit played by DJ’s across the industry. – Aaron Root
Post Malone – Stay (Grabbitz Cover) | Stream
Post Malone‘s recent beerbongs & bentleys album was a diverse arrangement of smooth soul, grungy hip-hop and sultry R&B. The album’s shining ballad “Stay” certainly stood out, its downtempo guitar strums and emotional lyrics hitting even harder than his hit “I Fall Apart”. Alt-electronic hitmaker Grabbitz has now unveiled a breathtaking live cover of “Stay” that will leave you speechless. His gorgeous harmonized vocals float over the ringing piano melody sprinkled with echoing vocal chops. Grabbitz’s cover drifts into a euphoric wonderland, making you want to close your eyes and feel the song in its entirety. What’s even better is you can also watch Grabbitz perform his gorgeous live “Stay” cover here.
What So Not – Beautiful (feat. Winona Oak) [ZEKE BEATS Remix] | Stream
What So Not‘s album has been one of our favorite releases of the year, and now that official remixes are starting to roll out we couldn’t be more excited. This one comes from Australian producer ZEKE BEATS, taking on the Winona Oak-featured “Beautiful” single. The artist turns things up a level on this remix, as rumbling bass and thundering drums make for an insane remix. – Max Chung
CHVRCHES – Get Out (tofû remix) | Free Download
tofû is one of our favorite remixers for two reasons. First, his remixes are fire, obviously. But secondly, he releasing new music almost every week, so there’s always something new to fall in love with. This week’s masterpiece is a grungy flip of CHVRCHES “Get Out” as rocking guitars strum take build the verses into an explosive future bass drop fueled by shimmering synths and popping chopped vocals. This is one’s of tofû’s finest remixes yet.
Prelow – Super Cool (Yetep Remix) | Stream
Rising stunner Yetep has amazed with his fluttering collaborative remixes of Kidswaste and Manila Killa’s “Tonight” and William Black’s “I Wish“. Currently on his All I Want Is You tour alongside Luca Lush, Dathan, and MYRNE, LA producer Yetep has come up fast with performances at this year’s EDC, LED, and Soulstice festivals. Out now with a new official remix, Yetep has been tapped to spin Prelow‘s “Super Cool” into flirty melodic future bass remix. Lush piano stabs and glittery synths burst against the sparkling percussion, soaring into a dreamy pop scented soundscape. Yetep has definitely impressed with this one.
RL Grime – I Wanna Know (Kaivon Remix) | Free Download
LA newcomer Kaivon has certainly impressed with his latest remix. Set to take the stage at San Francisco’s Soulstice festival this July, Kaivon has unveiled a shiny new remix of RL Grime and Daya‘s “I Wanna Know”, which will be perfect for his set. He absorbs Daya’s iconic ethereal vocals in orchestral, swelling synths and swift snares before exploding into a chopped eruption of vibrant synths. The track carries a darker tone than the original, with a very festival ready vibe that makes it yet another banger ready for festival season.
Louis The Child – Last To Leave Feat. Caroline Ailin (Midnight Kids Remix) | Free Download
Up and coming duo Midnight Kids have kept us on our toes with their electrifying remixes of Shaun Frank, Madeon, and more. Their latest takes on Louis The Child‘s single “Last To Leave” and spins the Caroline Ailin featured track into a bursting dance pop remix. Soaring with sparkling synths and crisp percussion, a summery sweetness rings through their remix that is utterly infectious. This is one of Midnight Kids’ finest remixes to date.
Timeflies – Little Bit (Paperwings Remix) | Stream
Rising LA duo Paperwings have caught our eye with their gooey remixes of Slander, Miguel, and ROZES, and their latest is just as stunning. Spinning Timeflies‘ “Little Bit” into a heavenly future pop jam, filled with airy, sparkling percussion and breezy, twinkling synths. Paperwings burst into a dance pop drop, with wild synths flying into a bright, bubbly beat. Paperwings have definitely stepped up with this Timeflies remix.
NOTD ft. Bea Miller – I Wanna Know (HtPkt Remix) | Free Download
Newcomer HtPkt has been building a stacked catalogue of remixes of RKCB, Lostboycrow, Steve James, and more. Out now with his finest remix yet, the NYC based producer and guitarist has uplifted NOTD‘s “I Wanna Know” with echoing, reverbed percussion and electrifying synths. HtPkt spins “I Wanna Know” into a powerhouse four to the floor remix, ready for any dance floor. HtPkt is one to watch this year.
Jocelyn Alice – I Know (Teddy Rose Remix) | Stream
Pacific Beach producer Teddy Rose is certainly a remixer on the rise. Turning songs by Kings of Leon, Blink-192, The All American Rejects, and Yellowcard into house anthems, Teddy Rose has now zoned his skilled on Jocelyn Alice‘s “I Know”. The shimmering downtempo house flip shines with summery snaps and shiny synth stabs that bring a bright warmth to the track. Teddy Rose has definitely impressed with this remix.
