Silent discos are out and virtual reality is in. With the ever-growing connection between music and technology exploring new depths, Boiler Room has teamed up with Google Pixel to launch VR Dancefloors: Techno in Berlin, a virtual reality experience that allows fans from anywhere to be a part of Boiler Room’s global events. The experiment is a part of Google Pixel’s VR app Daydream, so get ready to upgrade your iPhone for this one. “VR Dancefloors: Techno in Berlin’ is an immersive music experiment which lets you ‘choose your own adventure’ in an industrial Berlin night club. You’ll be transported right into the middle of a cast of 150 of Berlin’s most dedicated ravers from a host of subcultures.” Boiler Room is known for their innovation and if this is any hint at what’s to come to the future of the concert experience, we are definitely on board.
