Diplo Releases Alternate Version of Ty Dolla $ign’s “Stand For”

Somewhere between passion and innovative talent you’ll find Ty Dolla $ign: the stand up guy. That refreshing trait can also be found within “Stand For” co-producer Diplo, who took to Soundcloud to say, “love this song I did with Ty so much .. I thought I’d share this alternate version I had.”

Ty Dolla $ign’s first single off his debut album ‘Free TC’—set to release Spring 2015–effortlessly fused his gritty r&b sound with minimalist production from the hands of Diplo and DJ Dahi. The new demo adds a new drum pattern and a bit of horns, which provides a slightly different undertone to accompany Ty’s heartfelt vocals.

This release is fresh off of Ty’s latest single, “Drop That Kitty“, featuring Charli XCX and Tinashe and the surprise album from Diplo and Skrillex’s Jack Ü.
