I think many people were worried when The Prodigy announced a comeback that their sound would come out different, or even worse be catered to jump on the EDM bandwagon many seem to be hopping on. Well, if you were one of those people, I am glad to tell you that you are wrong.
“Nasty” is to the core, a song that screams “Prodigy.” It keeps the same violent, almost screaming vocals that have made singles from the past such as “Firestarter” and “Smack My Bitch Up” almost household songs. The part that sticks out the most is the absolutely clanging bassline that sounds like something from a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack. I absolutely cannot wait for the rest of this album, ‘The Day Is My Enemy’ , which is slated to be released on March 30th. The single is available to download with a preorder of the album either from iTunes or The Prodigy’s own online store.

Totally disappointing. Have nothing in common at all with FOTL. Totally cheap. How many tracks in the song? Compare that with the old good albums and you find twice or triple as many tracks in one song which made it high quality. Prodigy is dead since FOTL. I rather listen to Current Value
Chris Chujkal says
still crappy maybe. its an insult to firestarter

uhhhhh I could not get into this

Still has that Prodigy sound but somehow lost their edge. They need an reinvention or just a realization that music is not a product. Killer video though,

well thats exactly what it is now, even for bands like the prodigy. its all about profit. the generation now doesn't give a shit about quality. you can repeat one word 100 times and they call it lyrics. they don't even sing live and yet pay 50$ or more for live concerts. as long they shout something in the mic the fools will jump and pay. thats exactly how the last prodigy concert was. boring.
