Kanye Wests Plays 20 New Tracks @ London Nightclub

Kanye West is one of the busiest artists in music today; he’s been everywhere since the release of Yeezus. This past Saturday night (July 6) at London’s Hotel Cafe Royal, Ye reportedly played 20 new tracks in a private set that lasted over three hours. No recording equipment was allowed in the club, but details have managed to find their way to us via Twitter. The vibe of the tracks he played were described by attendees as “dark, hellish, and ground shaking”. Does this mean Yeezuz 2 (not an official title) is near finished? Only time will tell. Kanye played three consecutive nights at the UK’s Wireless Festival – filling in for Drake on Saturday night (who dropped out due to an illness) and honoring the YMCMB artist by playing a few of his tracks. West was booed during his set for a 10 minute rant against the media, consumerism and the fashion industry, but the crowd still applauded at the conclusion of his set, just another reason why he was on our list of Artists People Pretend To Hate, But Really Love.
