Tomorrowland is one of the largest, most diverse, and artistically creative music festivals in the world. Over 100,000 attendees travel from all corners to represent their countries and celebrate electronic music together in Belgium every year. Featuring interactive art installations, boasting a lineup of over 300 acts, and showcasing a main stage that’s beauty and grandeur is unparalleled by any other stage on the planet, Tomorrowland holds it’s place at the top of the global festival circuit. This year, for the festival’s 10th anniversary, Tomorrowland has plans to expand to two weekends, further bolstering the festival’s unmatched dominance.
Following in the footsteps of popular American festivals such as Coachella and Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland plans to keep the party going, enticing eager travelers with a second weekend of lighthearted musical immersion. In 2013, Tomorrowland crossed the Atlantic Ocean, and the inaugural Tomorrowworld festival was held in Georgia’s Chattahoochee Hills. Recreating the festival’s unmistakable atmosphere on American soil with the help of SFX Entertainment was a monumental move. However, with the festival’s 10 year milestone coming in 2014, Tomorrowland is planning to up the ante once more with the addition of another weekend. Official event producers ID&T have not yet officially confirmed the festival’s expansion, although a second weekend seems to be more than likely for 2014.
Tomorrowland and Tomorrowworld have also been greatly responsible for trap music’s momentum this year, featuring a trap stage at Tomorrowworld with some of bass music’s very best at the decks. hosting one of the most well-rounded lineups on the planet, Tomorrowland and Tomorrowworld alike cover the entire electronic dance music spectrum with the talent they present each year. As the iconic festival grows in popularity each year, the lineup grows to reflect that and tickets typically sell out within minutes. 2013 tickets sold out in the blink of an eye, so expect that 2014 tickets will follow suit, even with the addition of a second weekend. Between expanding to the American festival circuit, and plans to extend the festival to two weekends in Belgium, it would be safe to say there is no festival in the world quite like Tomorrowland.
