Masego Drops A New Compilation ‘Loose Thoughts’ Just In Time For The Summer

It may be Kanye’s birthday, but today is also Masego’s 23rd birthday. In lieu of this, Masego just released a new compilation titled Loose Thoughts. The compilation is a comprised of numerous tracks and freestyles from different points at Masego’s career. When reflecting on these tracks in a phone interview, Masego said:

“This is just the stuff that if they don’t come out now, they’ll never come out… This is like the B-squad. The cut squad ain’t varsity but they can all still dunk.”

Listening to Loose Thoughts feels like getting an inside look into the mind of Masego and the chance to see his stream of consciousness. In several of these tracks, Masego is responsible for not only the vocals but also the production, which highlights his ability as an artist.
