It looks like Wes is only inviting one friend for this week’s coming edition of Diplo and Friends. Recently delivering a pristine roster of guests for the weekly radio spot, arguably the biggest attraction in dance music this year is stepping to the plate for this week’s episode. From Burning Man to Hard Summer, Ultra Music Festival to a good old fashioned Texas house party, wherever dance music royalty super-duo Jack U turns up, the hype goes through the roof. Two of dance music’s most dominant titans behind the decks is definitely something to write home about, but when Skrillex and Diplo take to the BBC airwaves this weekend for a 2-hour long studio session this weekend, you can bet it’ll flip Saturday night upside down.
The show will most likely feature a grip of new music from both Sonny and Wes, as well as a handful of other cuts that the industry’s two biggest taste makers are digging right now. With two full hours of Jack U insanity coming from the radio, you can bet that OWSLA and Mad Decent’s respective label heads will definitely be testing out some crispy new jams from the talent on each imprint.
