Commissioned by Warner Music Group, Royal has joined those contributing to the 10 year anniversary re-issue of Tegan and Sara‘s ‘So Jealous’ LP. It will consists of an exclusive three disc collection entitled ‘So Jealous X’ and will include a hardcover book, a live performance, and bonus tracks. The extra music isn’t just remixes, there’s demo’s and covers in there too- apparently even one from The White Stripes!

Royal stays true to the spirit of the original and only amplifies it this delightfully punchy rendition of ‘So Jealous’. Flooded with melodic synths and punctuated with some sharp percussion, Royal has ensured that this remix won’t be lost amongst everything in the collection. The first drop comes out of nowhere, similar to the artist himself. This has been a phenomenal year for the DC based producer, who has been racking up millions of plays with his fantastic knack for reinventing the tunes we love.
