ATL’s HXV, also known as Heroes Villains, drops off a hard hitting collaboration with Lil Uzi and Rome Fortune. This track showcases his ability to blur the lines of electronic and hip-hop music with an aggressive aura. Sharp synths heavy bass, and acute hi hat rolls make this banger what it is, and having Lil Uzi and Rome Fortune on the beat sure doesn’t hurt. With this song we threw the old ‘trap’ formulas out the window; instead, approaching the track from the perspective of making forward thinking rap music with artists we love, and incorporating what we consider the best elements of electronic music, not ‘EDM’. This is the new blueprint.
