Previously known as Polaroid, the indie electronic duo have beautifully rebranded their project into a soon to be dominating new venture. The musical project of LA/SF duo Peter Fenn and Parker Livingston has gorgeously twisted together elements of soul, indie, and electronic music for their debut single “wait” and it is effortlessly brilliant. Warm vocals absorb the breezy synths and delicate, hypnotic percussion before bouncing into an easy, soul-funk inspired chorus that will have you swooning. Smalltalk’s new track “wait” is wonderfully infectious showcase of their talents to come in what we can only hope will be a stellar, release packed year.
