Coachella Headliners: Here's What We Know So Far

Coachella isn’t for months, but all that means is we get to speculate wildly until that juicy lineup drops. In years past, the big names have swung wildly from hip-hop giants like Kendrick Lamar to rock gods Rage Against The Machine, and to legends like Paul McCartney. In recent years, big EDM names such as Calvin Harris have been getting near top billing, and the pop/top 40 acts have been steadily rounding out the mix. This year seems to be no different if the rumors are to be believed. Check out the speculation (and one confirmation) below and let us know if you’re already saving your pennies for those tix.

Beyoncé

Here is one you can already look forward to. Beyoncé is confirmed to be headlining 2018, and with good reason. Queen B has been tearing things up, as always, and isn’t quite as pregnant this year as she was last year. Rumors of a possible Jay-Z sighting are hot right now, as well as a possible Destiny’s Child reunion as well (I for one am ready for that jelly).

The Weeknd

The Starboy himself seems to be the biggest (and most credible) rumor we’ve heard about so far. Although he isn’t going to be dropping anything new between now and the fest, he is coming off a monster tour, so this would be a nice little exclamation point on that. If any of his collaboration artists (think: Future, Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey) show up, you know its going to be one crazy set.

The Chainsmokers

Whatever your opinion is on these guys, they pull fans. The Chainsmokers gain fans by the truckload every day, and that means big bucks for festivals. While there is only a bit of speculation on these two, I would personally expect to see them there, as they are currently one of, if not the largest, names in EDM.
