Electric Forest surprised a lot of fans when they announced their expansion to two weekends for their 2017 edition of the festival in order to create two unforgettable weekends. The two weekends will feature a huge roster of artists. Many will play both weekends – but some will be exclusive to either weekend.
That is a lot of acts to weed through- so we decided to make life easier and highlight some of our favorites acts that will be performing at Electric Forest. Although weekend one is already sold out – you can still buy tickets to weekend two though!
We hope to see some of you out there!

Performing Both Weekends
Autograf’s infectious melodies and all around Summer vibes make Autograf a perfect fit for this incredible music festival. Coming off of an incredibly hot first 6 months of 2017 which included a few performances at Coachella and some songs that cant seem to stay out of my head – the next 6 months of 2017 look just as bright. I can’t wait to see these guys bring their magic to The Forest.
It’s been about six months since the release of Jai Wolf’s breathtaking debut EP – Kindrid Spirits. After extensive touring – it’s so great to see his name on the Summer festival circuit the past couple of years. His unique take on dance music will make you feel, dance, jump, sway and everything in between.
At the mere age of 16- this young producer has already caught the eye of many. His newest track, “Fight For You” was premiered by Billboard and shows a musical maturity that I rarely see. He recently announced that he is currently in production of his debut album. Hopefully we get to hear some of it at Electric Forest!
I don’t know about you guys – but I am still buzzing from Dabin’s debut album – Two Hearts. The range of sound design and emotion is something I haven’t felt since Porter Robinson’s Worlds. I personally haven’t had a chance to check out Dabin live yet – and I hope to experience some of the magic that he created on Two Hearts live in the Forest. Plus he just did an awesome AMA at /r/Electricforest !
18 years old. Collaborated with Flux Pavillion. Already been on his own national tour. Sound familiar? It should – because that’s exactly what little Whethan has done in the last year. His future bass renditions create a dance party like no other, and I’m glad that he will finally be able to add ‘Electric Forest’ to his already impressive list of achievements.
Weekend One Exclusives
AC Slater brought his ‘Night Bass’ sound to Electric Forest last year – and I am so glad it is making a return in 2017. His forward thinking take on bass music and success at breaking the status quo is such a fresh of breath air. He’s always trying to transcend genres, and his sets definitely highlight that.
I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Chet Porter and not smiled. Whether it’s the gorgeous sound design on ‘Stay’ or the heavy vibes from ‘tbh ily.’ It will be exciting to see him work through his catalog to a future bass hungry crowd.
Weekend 2 Exclusives
Break Science has been a mainstay in the scene for quite some time. These Electric Forest veterans combine hip hop, breakbeat, jazz, future funk and electro soul into a unique sound that festival goers have been in love with Summer after Summer. With Adam Deitch on the drums and Borahm Lee on keys and synths – they create a live music experience unlike any other.
If I had to pick one phrase to describe a GTA set it would have to be ‘controlled chaos.’ Their ‘Death to Genres’ attitude and creative song selection give them the ability to blend genres together seamlessly in the span of one set. They are great at reading the crowd and will give their fans whatever kind of set they are feeling that day.
