A label and collective, Monstercat, has an almost online cult following – they are always hard at work helping artists such as Grabbitz, Aerochord and Pegboard Nerds put out music and make sure it reaches as many people as possible.  The best part about Monstercat compilation albums is the sheer variety we get in each one.

Their 22nd compilation, Contact is no exception. It brings you 32 tracks split up into two continuous mixes. The first half which is labeled ‘Connection’ features everything from San Holo‘s vibed out beats to Protostar‘s grimed out trap beats to AeroChord‘s booming, crunchy sub – bass- dance music lovers of all kinds will be able to connect with something on Contact.

The second half – ‘Essence’ kicks off with Savoy & Sound Remedy’s gorgeous track ‘Leaving You’ before showing us what San Holo can really do with ‘Victory.’ Don’t think even for a second that the ‘Essence’ half of the mix is more toned down. Wait until you hear Stonebank‘s ‘The Entity’
