Justin Hawkes is back with his sophomore album, Now Or Never, an ambitious 12-track project that showcases his self-described “Experiential Drum & Bass” sound. Following his 2022 debut album Existential, the new project centers around the role passion plays in shaping our lives. Across its 12 chapters, the producer explores everything from resistance and discovery to love, healing, dance, and self-realization. The deeply personal nature of the record extends beyond its concept as well: Hawkes wrote and produced every track himself, contributed his own vocals and lyrics throughout, and helped direct the album’s accompanying visual world.

The project also arrives as Justin continues to carve out a unique space for American drum & bass on the global stage. After beginning his career as Flite before adopting his current moniker in 2020, the Virginia producer has amassed more than 100 million streams and earned support from artists including Sub Focus, Andy C, RL Grime, Pendulum, Porter Robinson, and more.
