Rising NYC-based duo MEMBA have been catching attention with their stunning singles and bubbly performances at this year’s Ultra, Coachella, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and SUNDARA. Since signing to ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective, MEMBA have soared to new heights. Continuing to dominate the summer, MEMBA have dropped off an ethereal new original titled “Inevitable.” The third track off their upcoming SAGA-II EP follows their playful future bass instrumental “School’s Out” and euphoric EVAN GIIA-featured single “Walls Down.” Taking a darker turn, “Inevitable” is an edgy, gritty instrumental that explores the twisted and sinister realm of future bass. Swaying with their signature tribal-inspired percussion, MEMBA infuse elements of future bass, trap, and indie electronic to craft an inexplicably flawless original. Be on the lookout for MEMBA’s forthcoming SAGA-II EP this August and stream “Inevitable” below.
The song is about the inevitable end we all face, and how this can be a motivator to live better now, rather than something to fear. – MEMBA
