JVMPKICKS has added some more flavor to the Screw House sound, with their fresh new single “The Mob“.
“The Mob” is another great example of JVMPKICKS’ dedication to no sound in particular. It’s a bouncy breakbeat track blended with sinister deep house qualities, hip hop vocals, and an unapologetic trap-style breakdown. Naturally, all atop a bed of thunderous sub-bass rumbles. “The Mob” is the seductive culmination of different eras of electronic music styles combined into one menacingly groovy track.
JVMPKICKS is a fresh new collaboration consisting of bass music heavyweights Sylust and Shinji . Though the duo is in its early stages, its respective parts are well versed in what they do, and the project is certainly sending ripples through the bass and house music worlds.
The two came together to merge their stylistic forces and forge a path for a new combined sound, what they call Screw House. With their distinctive styles and shared love for churning beats, they’re straddling the boundaries of genre, blending house, trap, hip hop, dub and bass into their own hypnotically alluring and unbridled sound.
“The Mob” is just a teaser for more to come. Soon JVMPKICKS will be releasing their Shambhala 2018 mix! Get a taste of the energy from that wild set, and stay tuned for more releases!
