Beychella went viral last night as Beyoncé finally took the stage Coachella and the Internet broke. If you remember, Beyoncé was scheduled to headline last year but canceled after announcing her pregnancy at the Grammys. So when it was revealed that she would actually perform this year, fans clenched to their computers waiting for the live stream to capture what would be a historic performance. Beyoncé is the first black woman to ever headline the festival so you know she was going to bring the fire. She opened her set by performing “Crazy In Love” with a live marching band and continued her earth shattering two hour performance with multiple glorious costume changes. She sang hits from Lemonade and all-time favorites like “Single Ladies”, “Drunk In Love”, “Baby Boy”, and “Who Run The World”, and later bought out her husband Jay-Z and sister Solange Knowles. But what has truly sparked attention was the surprise Destiny’s Child reunion, where they brought back their iconic army glam outfits and performed their ’90s hits “Say My Name,” “Soldier” and “Lose My Breath.”
Following the performance, Bey’s team asked fans and press outlets to not share unflattering pictures of her on social media but when it comes to Bey, that’s practically impossible considering she’s flawless. Obviously, the Internet ignored her PR’s request and you can find tons of pictures and videos everywhere you turn. You can still watch Beyoncé’s full performance on Channel 1 of the live stream and see clips from last night on her Instagram.
