Two years ago, the internet lost it’s mind with the arrival of Chance the Dropout, a mixtape by DJ Critical Hype with Chance the Rapper verses over classic Kanye West beats. Critical Hype is back at it again, this time taking Compton legends Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre and fusing them in a crazy new way.
In a recent interview about the project, he said “The Chance and Kanye tape has a lot of parallels to the Kendrick and Dr. Dre one, so it made sense for my follow up. Both pairs come from the same city and were big influences to their younger counterparts early in their careers.” Have a listen to the project below.
