Future pop magnet Lucian has repeatedly left us speechless with his shimmering dance pop productions. His debut original “Bobby K” alongside Nashville songstress Remmi shined a light on his intrinsic pop making abilities, seamlessly crafting dance pop hits before the genre had even formed. He’s gone on to garner millions of plays across his gorgeous originals like “Sick of Love”, “Fly By Night”, “Drift”, and “Hero”, and has also stamped himself as one of future pop’s finest curators by putting the spotlight on more than a dozen up and coming vocalists, like Oktavian, LIA, Beth Duck, and Noé. No stranger to collaboration, Lucian has also worked alongside fellow producers like Jupe and Mickey Valen as he continues to expand his signature sound.
For his latest original, Lucian has enlisted little known producer Fallow, undoubtedly putting him on the map with their Blest Jones featured collaboration “Looking For”. Just mere months ago, we came across Fallow’s lush future R&B remixes of Petit Biscuit’s “Problems” and NSTASIA’s “Belong To You” and were instantly mesmerized by his delicate, euphoric soundscapes. Together, Lucian and Fallow have crafted a breathtakingly gorgeous soul-pop original. The lush future R&B track floats with sparkling, shiny synths and breezy percussion against Blest Jones’ sultry croons, flowing with a hypnotic swagger and sensual flare. “Looking For” is effortlessly and addictively dreamy, drifting into a magical, euphoric R&B wonderland. Lucian has not only outdone himself with this one, but also handed us one of our favorite new producers. Stream Lucian and Fallow’s stunning new single “Looking For” below.
