Drake Gives Entire Music Video Budget to Charity

Drake filmed his most recent video for his track “God’s Plan” in the streets of Miami, Florida.  The video includes footage of Toronto’s R&B posterchild surprising families, citizens, and students in need with scholarships, money, and shopping sprees amounting to the tune of $996,000, according to a disclaimer at the beginning of the music video.  Throughout the nearly six minute video, Drake is seen spreading positivity to people who could truly use a boost.  Hopefully this comes as a shining example of philanthropy and charity in a hip-hop world so stricken lately with vanity and selfishness.
