Every year, business magazine Forbes releases its 30 Under 30 list recognizing 600 of the brightest business professionals in 20 different industries. The elite list had over 15,000 nominations this year, making it more competitive than most colleges in the country with an acceptance rate of less than 4%. Last year’s list included Chance The Rapper manager Pat Corcoran, Soulection cofounder Joe Kay, and artists like Gallant, Tory Lanez, Desiigner, The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart, and Forbes has stepped it up for 2018. This year’s list highlights two of the year’s top electronic stars and recent collaborators Marshmello (25) and Khalid (19), who’s been featured on tracks alongside Lorde, Calvin Harris, Logic and Alina Baraz. Forbes’ 2018 music lineup also features heavy hip hop talent like Cardi B (25), Playboi Carti (22), Lil Uzi Vert (23), Travis Scott (26), Young Thug (26) and Migos (23, 25, 26). Aside from artists, Forbes also highlighted industry hot shots like Wiz Khalifa’s manager Will Dzombak (29) and Logic’s manager Chris Zarou (28) as well as CAA booking agent Phil Quist (29), who has signed artists like The Chainsmokers, Prince Fox, and Lost Kings, and Paradigm agent Matt Meyer (28), who represents artists like Halsey, Krewella and Cash Cash.
