RL Grime is getting ready to head on tour down in Australia and ahead of that tour took some time to have an interview with Australian radio station Triple J. They talked about the upcoming tour, RL’s upcoming album, and of course Australian superstar Flume. During the interview RL Grime dropped some hints that him and Flume have been meaning to hit the studio and work on something together.
“I’ve been good friends with him for a long time, four, five years now. I hope we do something together soon. He just moved to L.A. and we’ve been chatting a bunch about working together, so hopefully.”
This would be an insane collaboration that would have the entire music industry buzzing if it came to fruition. Recently RL dropped his edit of Flume’s smash hit “Never Be Like You” and his own hit Aurora as well as Flume is known for dropping his own edit of RL’s megahit “Core” during his sets. There’s a really good chance this collaboration happens and rest assured that RTT will keep you updated as the story continues to develop.
