Slushii has been releasing tracks like he has an arsenal of music tucked away, and it is quite possible that he does. Probable actually, that he has been making music in some bedroom somewhere for years, actually pretty well known in some small circles, and it is only now that the world is experiencing his beautifully epic sound. Either way, it is as if just over a month ago this artist was created out of thin air, and Slushii remains intriguingly mysterious to most of the music world.

The man behind Slushii is less important than his impressive Soundcloud catalogue, that has been steadily growing since RTT first begged to ask about who this artist is exactly. Since then, we have pretty much got him characterized, pegged, and identified, described so well as a ‘musical juggernaut’ rolling on. Even though we have had this story covered as it has developed, who is no longer relevant at , nor is really anything when you get lost in the blended beverage that is this sound. So many flavors, fresh and tasty treats in the form of remixes and original mixes. In my opinion just a tease compared to an oncoming blizzard from everyone’s new favorite frozen drink. Slushii’s latest is an original mix entitled “Make Me Feel‚” and boy, does it ever. Heavy, solid drums mixed with ambient, light melodies, that feel like heaven. Remnant of Porter Robinson and the complextro era when this shit still sounded new, and this shit is new and it is icy, blended, and delicious.
