Pretty Lights Releases Video For New Track “Only Yesterday”

Some things are worth waiting for.  After three years, Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights is back with his new track “Only Yesterday” and the video has got us ready for his upcoming second camping festival in Telluride, Colorado on August 26 and 27.

Directed by Ryan Berena, the video for “Only Yesterday” takes the signature Pretty Lights sound heightens it with nostalgic shots of Smith performing with his live band and crowds of fans dancing under his infamous light show.

On his website, Smith shared,  “Only Yesterday” is a track trying to express something very honest about how it can feel like an ongoing struggle to truly be yourself.  The video is a piece of cinematic nostalgia, and an effort to collectively acknowledge how important it can be for an individual to find meaningful connection with their FRIENDS.”
