It’s a great day for Griz and funk fans alike, because Griz has broken the silence in the best way possible. A new single from his forthcoming album, ‘Say It Loud’ AND a Spring tour kicking off in April.
“Stop Trippin” brings back the funk that so many Griz fans have been begging for, in glorious fashion. iDA HAWK‘s vocals are almost Tune yards-esque and she absolutely kills it in the back and forth breakdown at the end which I can already imagine being such a fun part of a live show. The best part of this song is that the saxophone seems to lead for most of the track and doesn’t feel like something extra added in post-production. The track has perfectly executed build up into a saxophone led ‘drop.’ Check it out, it is slated to be released on Griz’s next album in March
