Flume has proven himself to be the Midas of Music- everything he touches turns to gold. His music speaks for itself, captivating hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. He recently reached the milestone of 1 hundred million plays on Soundcloud, having remixed everything from Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court‘ to Hermitude’s ‘HyperParadise’.
RL Grime is another one of my faves. His tendency to push the limits with all of his work has driven him to the top. He was on the line up for every major festival this year, and even had his own stage at HARD Day Of The Dead. He released ‘Core‘ 4 months ago, and today informed us that Flume will be gifting us with his interpretation of the track (hopefully soon). They have worked together before with Emoh Instead and Flume as What So Not on ‘Tell Me’, the track that dominated every major set this year. Flume dropped a What So Not remix of ‘Core’ in his Quest Mix for Annie Nightingales show last night (you can listen to it here), so maybe that’s the track RL Grime is referring to? Time will Tell.
