Flume is back with a stellar one hour mix that debuted on Annie Nightingale’s radio show. He recently took a trip to Tokyo and described his Quest Mix as the soundtrack for that trip. In the introduction he said he was in his studio in Sydney working on new material, and that he was thinking about getting a log cabin in Tasmania and doing some producing there.
The mix itself is really chill before taking it up a notch at the end. There’s no new Flume music in the mix, but he does include What So Not’s edit of RL Grime – Core to finish the mix out. He also took the time to highlight some other Australian artists like Ta-Ku and George Maple during his set. Right now the mix is only steaming on the BBC Radio 1 website, but if/when the mix shows up on Soundcloud we will be sure to update the post.
