SBTRKT – TEMPORARY VIEW ft SAMPHA

After the release of his TRANSITIONS EP almost three months ago, SBTRKT is back with a funky new track entitled “TEMPORARY VIEW” with British electronic music singer/songwriter Sampha.

 

“Temporary View” is definitely in vein with most of SBTRKTs previous work: calm and filtered organ complementing some high pitch synths, with high pitched arpeggiated tones in the background. The vocals and lyrics are also very “SBTRKT-esque.” Overall I’d say the song is most reminiscent of “Hold On,” off From Arctic to Alpine, which also features Sampha.

Here’s to hoping that this means more awesome tunes from SBTRKT and (fingers crossed) maybe a new album/tour? We can only pray.
