Every now and then we hear a track and say, “Holy shit, pick a genre.” SLUGZ by SNAILS is definitely one of those tracks.
The bass-trap hybrid is five minutes of heavy, in your face music, without overwhelming you.
The track begins to unfold with a heavy bass-growl lined over a standard trap beat, then gives you a second to breathe with a beautiful synth-filled build up at around 2:20, right before launching you back into bass overhaul. I argue that he called the track SLUGZ because the track slowly ‘slugs’ its way across you before you even know what happens.
