Yesterday, Skrillex put up a picture an asked the world to go download this new app he made. Turns out there is a secret folder with a countdown attached to it in Skrillex‘s new “Alien Ride” app. For the past few days people have been wondering what could possibly be in the folder. Well, not that surprisingly, it looks like redditors has cracked the secret folder wide open for everyone to see. It appears that there are 11 unnamed tracks with links to the iTunes and Google Play stores attached to them. Tomorrow around 6:30 pm EST is when the countdown ends and hopefully we will know when Skrillex’s new album will be out as well as know the tracklist.
UPDATE: To get to the tracks you have to play the space invaders “recess” game, then you will be notified to “tap here” on the top of the screen after playing for a couple minutes, hit that and it will bring you to the track streaming section. There is a new track unlocked every 30 minutes. We also have a full stream of Recess as the tracks drop here.
