There are few DJs who care about their fans more than Party Favor (you should check out our exclusive interview from a few weeks back) and to celebrate reaching 30,000 followers on Facebook, he’s graciously released a 3-track EP of trap bangers for us to enjoy completely free of charge. Party Favor’s style of big-room trap music has been destroying dance floors across the club and festival circuit by utilizing the most compelling elements of trap and house music to bridge the proverbial musical gap between club and trap music. Combine this with good ‘ol fashioned no-computer-necessary DJ skills and you’ve got yourself… well, Party Favor.

We’ve been stoked on this release since we were able to preview Touch a few weeks ago and Party Favor certainly does not disappoint! He starts it off hot with Dime, a bouncy 100 BPM twerk tune with an absolutely killer vocal sample and of course, plenty of dirty brass to move-that-ass (you can just tell that this track was designed to get the ladies shaking what they got). Its followed up by Niche which sports more of Party Favor’s unique big-room trap sound, making use of some very European sounding triplet synth stabs. Finally we have Touch which happens to be my favorite Party Favor release to date (and already a staple in my DJ repertoire). Instant. Trap. Classic. There’s just something about the detuned female vocals and gunshots that gets me dancing everytime (hmmmm, there’s something that seems wrong about that…)
