Big news from the Shady Records camp yesterday, it seems like the rap supergroup Slaughterhouse, composed of legendary wordsmiths Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9, Crooked I, and Joell Ortiz are back at it again working on their third studio album.
Taking a different approach from their previous album Welcome: To Our House, the four are all held up in a secret location in New York with some big name producers such as AraabMuzik, and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. Along with the big dawg Just Blaze in as the Executive Producer for the entire album. You can look forward to this album being notches above the rest because all four are together, creating, and recording in a collaborative effort, instead of, as Joe Budden states in a past interview at Shadyrecords.com: “sending tracks around and everyone records it in their own studio.”
If history repeats itself, in true Slaughterhouse fashion, you can expect plenty of singles, mixtapes, and videos leading to the album release date. (We’ll keep you posted as we hear more info.)
