Chris Brown made headlines this weekend after indie rock band CHVRCHES called out Marshmello for working with the Florida rapper, who has a long history of violence towards women. CHVRCHES issued a statement on their social media accounts, disavowing Marshmello and Chris Brown’s “Light It Up”.
Brown responded by making an inflammatory and hate-filled comment on Instagram. The band has yet to issue a statement following Brown’s remark, but there may not be much more for them to say to prove their point.
