Dance-pop producer Marshmello and British alt-rock band Bastille are an interesting match made in heaven. The duo first joined forces for their heartbreak ballad “Happier” and since have guested on Good Morning America and on BBC’s iconic Radio 1 Live Lounge. For their live lounge performance, Marshmello and Bastille performed a gorgeous live version of “Happier” and covered one of the hottest songs of the year “Eastside”. For their cover of Benny Blanco, Khalid, and Halsey’s pop collaboration, they’ve magically traded the original’s guitar melodies for a sultry string quartet. They’ve even spiced up their cover by swapping the original chorus for that of Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me” and it’s absolutely stunning. Get ready to have your breath taken away.
