Over the past few months Damon Albarn, who is the cofounder of the virtual band Gorillaz, has been hinting at the band’s return. We finally got confirmation yesterday when Damon’s partner in crime, artist Jamie Hewllet, posted some drawings of Noodle and Murdoc on his instagram. Fans began to comment asking whether or not Gorillaz would be returning after over a 3 year hiatus from putting out music. The artist’s answer was simple, “Yes Gorillaz Returns.” 2015 is shaping up to be a great year in music already and January isn’t even over yet.
