This past year has been a year undoubtedly dominated by Skrillex. Los Angeles’ favorite son started the year off by dropping Recess and since the moment new Skrillex jams hit the wire in March, the fun hasn’t stopped since. But the debut full-length album was somehow only the tip of the iceberg. Three nationwide tours, a packed festival headlining schedule, and two remix EPs later and Sonny still isn’t done, now offering his third remix EP of the year. Following up a stacked collection of “Ragga Bomb” and “Easy My Mind” remixes, and a grip of juicy “Recess” remixes as well, now “Dirty Vibe” is on deck, due to be remixed by a colorful cast of producers.
Mad Decent heavyweight DJ Snake alongside Aazar, Ricky Remedy, Habstrakt and UK-bred OWSLA duo Jack Beats are all due to remix Skrill and Diplo’s tag-team heater. The royal pair got together with K-Pop stars CL and G-Dragon to deliver on of the year’s biggest hits with their gritty hip-hop inspired hybrid trap jam, and now its time to hear a few more renditions from a stellar roster of remixers.
