One of the biggest musical events of this year didn’t happen at a festival. It didn’t happen in a club and it certainly didn’t happen on a boat. One of the biggest spectacles in electronic music this year came from one of the biggest performers at one of the most beautiful venues in the entire world.
Throughout 2014, Skrillex embarked on his world-wide Mothership Tour hitting incredible cities and unbelievable venues all over the globe. None of those shows, however, could match the majesty and wonder of Red Rocks — Sonny’s “favorite venue in the world.” One of the only natural amphitheaters in the world, Red Rocks sits right outside Denver and has been the go-to spot for music lovers and artists alike.
Naturally, the showman that is Skrillex made the most of his time at Red Rocks; implementing some of the most high-tech and expansive audio and visual technologies, Sonny and his crew put on one of the most amazing nights in dance music history for a lucky crowd of over 94 thousand lucky fans.
Playing artists like, Moody Good, Diplo, What So Not, and many, many more, Skrillex’s all-encompassing set was simply out of this world. And now, we get to relive the entire show thanks to Live Nation and Blood Company. Enjoy!
