Weekend 1 has come and gone, and we’re only a day away from the madness that’s about to ensue on The Do Lab Stage during Weekend 2. For those who missed the stacked lineup of Weekend 1 they featured: Big Wild, KRNE, Wave Racer, San Holo, Paper Diamond, Jerry Folk, Lee Foss, Ghastly, and More. Well Weekend 2 is even more insane. Here’s a small list of reasons to live at The Do Lab during Weekend 2.
5. Best Place To Cool Off During The Day
Well this picture basically says it all. Getting sprayed in the face with pressure washers from the stage, as you burn up in the 100 degree Palm Springs weather. All while dancing to your favorite artist. Oh, and did I mention shade?
4. The Dirtybird Squad
Ever year The Do Lab features at least a couple DJs from the legendary SF based Dirtybird Label. And they always deliver some funky tech house to make sure you get after it. This year they’re hosting Ardalan and Sacha Robotti.
3. Hotel Garuda & EKALI
Two of arguably the hottest upcoming DJ’s in the game right now both delivering different styles production, while still staying way ahead of the curve. Hotel Garuda consists of Manila Killa and Candle Weather who bring a sexy array of house music sure to get you wetter then the pressure washers on stage. And EKALI hailing from Vancouver, CA known for massive future bass flips your favorite artists, from Denzel Curry to Flume. Both of these sets should make believers out of any listener.
2. Sam Gellaitry.
Yes number 2 is just Sam. This is arguably one of the most important sets of Coachella 2016. Because the young prodigy is making his Do Lab debut and it’s going to be one for the books. Recently signing to XL Recordings, Sam G is paving the way for his legendary career, and this set should help catapult him to the spotlight.
1. The Special Guests
No not the sexy acrobats dangling above but special guests so massive they can’t even announce them. In 2015 The Do Lab featured a legendary back 2 back set featuring Chet Faker and Bonobo performing. So it’s only appropriate that 2016 will be followed up with something equally as amazing. Check all the set times below so you don’t miss a beat, and scope the 2015 recap video.
