Chicago has never been short of amazing New Year’s events or shows to attend while celebrating the new year. In the past few years Chicago has rung in the new year with acts such as Gramatik, Porter Robinson, Rusko, and Big Gigantic…just to name a few.

Last year we were introduced to Reaction New Year’s eve for the first time in the form of a two night Zeds Dead run at the Aragon Ballroom with heavy-hitting support acts like Seven Lions, Jauz and Loudpvck. This year Reaction is even bigger.

Again you can expect two days of non-stop dancing but this time it’s at a bit of a bigger venue… The Donald E. Stephens Convention center in Rosemont just barely outside of Chicago. If you’ve never been inside it’s absolutely massive and will be home to this mini New Year’s based festival which will feature acts such as Skrillex, Run The Jewels, Deadmau5, and Chance The Rapper round out the headlining spots. Besides some nationally known supporting acts like Cashmere Cat and Probcause, Reaction NYE will have some amazing local supporting acts straight from Chicago, including Glass Lux, Greg Corner, The Porn and Chicken crew and Light.Em.Up.
